  • Steve Arterburn M. ED

    He has become a New York Times Bestselling and Award-Winning author with more than 15 million books in print. He is the author of Every Man’s Battle which has sold over 4 million copies. Steve’s Radio program, New Life Live!, won National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Radio Program of the Year in 2023. In addition to his books, Steve is the developer and editor of ten Specialty and Study Bibles. Steve founded Women of Faith which has been attended by over 5 million women in packed out arenas.

    In 1988, he founded New Life Treatment Centers providing Christian psychiatric and addiction treatment in secular psychiatric hospitals. He started “New Life Ministries” which is the #1 syndicated Christian Counseling Radio Program, “New Life Live.

    Steve is a respected innovator dedicated to helping transform lives with God’s truth all over the world. His shared vision and passion for helping pastors and their churches led him to his help and support of Growth Seekers.

    Steve has degrees from Baylor University and The University of North Texas as well as two honorary doctorate degrees including one from The California Graduate School of Theology.

  • Jeff Scott

    Pastor and National Director

    Jeff has over 55 years of leadership experience in both church and business. As an entrepreneurial leader Jeff was responsible for starting the Discipleship Walk - a 3-day weekend which develops leaders in the church while leading others into a deeper relationship with Christ. Over 18,000 people have attended these weekends in multiple states in the US. Jeff developed the Alpha Program in his home church into one of the largest in the US and served on the National Board of Advisors for Alpha USA. In addition, Jeff has been responsible for training over 500 churches in the US, Nicaragua, and India on how to run the Alpha Program. Jeff and his wife Sue developed Growth Seekers in their home church where over 500 people have experienced emotional and relational components of spiritual growth. Jeff and Sue have led multiple groups of Pastors and their wives through Growth Seeker groups.

    Jeff has been married for 52 years. Jeff and his wife share 2 daughters and three grandchildren. He enjoys hunting, boating and lake activities.

  • Sue Scott

    Pastor and Assistant Director

    Sue has led a diverse career in banking, real estate, raising a family, office management and business management prior to retirement. She has pioneered ministry initiatives that have impacted the lives of thousands of people. Sue helped develop Discipleship Walk, a spiritual renewal ministry which has ministered to thousands of individuals nationwide. She has just retired after 30 years serving as its chairman. She has served as a small group leader, Bible study teacher, led mission trips and served as a trustee in her church. Serving solely as a volunteer, she was a catalyst in bringing life-changing ministries to her church. She has a passion for coming alongside women in leadership as well as pastor’s wives.

    Sue has been married for over 50 years, 25 of those as a pastor’s wife. She and her husband share two adult daughters and three grandchildren. An avid gardener Sue also enjoys water sports and reading.

  • Mandy Cooley

    Assistant Director

    Mandy is a certified life coach, seasoned lay leader, lifelong learner, licensed teacher, and inspirational speaker. She has led and developed content for discipleship-focused ministries for over 10 years, co-authoring Growth Seekers and facilitating many Growth Seekers groups.

    Mandy has over 20 years experience coaching, teaching, training, and leading professional & personal growth in the private sector. With a background in both education (BA) and psychology (MA), Mandy applies Biblical wisdom, researched theories, neuroscience-backed processes, and evidence-based practices to encourage emotionally healthy living.

    Mandy is a wife, a mom of two teen boys, an Enneagram 2, and an accidental farmer.

  • Zach McCoy

    Pastor and Assistant Director

    Zach is an ordained pastor who has served as the Men's Ministry Associate at Northview Church since February 2022. In this role, Zach facilitates and leads various men's discipleship programs including Authentic Manhood, Better Man, Wild at Heart, and Growth Seekers. He is passionate about coming alongside men, encouraging them in their faith, and helping them grow into the leaders God has called them to be.

    When he's not working his full-time day job or volunteering, you can usually find Zach spending time with his wife and four kids. Zach also enjoys walking, biking, reading, listening to podcasts on leadership, technology and theology and playing guitar or drums.

  • Shane Fornelli

    Pastor and Assistant Director

    In 2016, Shane founded NextPoint IT that serviced over 100 regional businesses and national vendors. He sold NextPoint IT in 2023 to focus on coaching and consulting.

    In 2020, he joined Northview Church as the Online Director later transitioning to the Groups and Teams Director at a local campus. In this role he loves connecting people with people, developing teams, and helping people who are stuck, alone, or just wanting to level up in their faith.

    You can often find find him running, biking, or camping with his beautiful wife and three boys. He's also an avid reader with a penchant for exploring business or relationship skills and soaking up transformational knowledge from the Bible.
